호주공군 신형위장복 지급 시작

 

 

 

기존의 호주 덕헌터를 위장복으로 사용하던 호주 공군이 멀티캠 위장 패턴를 기반으로 하는 블루 멀티캠를 신형 위장 작업복으로 지급하기 시작했습니다.

 

과거 미공군이 블루 톤의 픽셀 타이거 스프라이프를 채용했다가 위장성에 큰 실망을 해서 같은 패턴에 ACU칼라로 교채하게 된다.(요즘은 같은 패턴에 멀티캠 색상를 이용한 위장복를 테스트 중인 걸로 알고 있음.)

 

 

이러한 실수를 다시 호주군이 하게 될지는 조금 더 지켜봐야 할듯, 호주 해군의 그레이 덕헌터는 함내에서  위장이나 작업복으로사용시 기름 오염 위장(?)에 탁월해서 만족 중이라고~

The Royal Australian Air Force today began the rollout of its General Purpose Uniform (GPU) at RAAF Base Amberley.

 

One of the first to receive the new uniform was Corporal Jenna Kowland who said she was looking forward to wearing the GPU.

 

"I've seen the new uniform around the base and it looks excellent," said Corporal Kowland.

"I feel proud that I now have a unique identity on base now that I'm wearing the GPU.

 

It helps to distinguish us as Air Force members from our Army and Navy colleagues."

A RAAF spokesman said the GPU would provide a consistent look for all Air Force personnel and enables Air Force personnel and their families to take pride in a unique Air Force identity.

The clothing will be made locally, providing direct economic benefits to the Australian community.
